The HarborView Towers’ Beacon is an Inner Harbor icon that illuminates Baltimore’s skyline and is visible from neighborhoods across the City. Described by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake as “the porch light to Key Highway,” The Beacon is a glass enclosure located on the top of The HarborView Towers that lights up the night sky every evening. In addition to standard lighting, The Beacon displays a variety of light shows such as one for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas; Orioles and Ravens’ wins; and a Maryland-themed show.
